NONG LALOK, RAYONG, THAILAND - Today Delta Hydraulics officially launched its hydraulic hose manufacturing business.
Delta's production line will manufacture approximately 2,500 unique hose assembly part numbers and provide Just-In-Time delivery to Caterpillar's Thailand Underground Mining plant where they manufacture underground mining wheel loaders and dump truck, as well as Caterpillar's Thailand Track-Type Tractor plant where they manufacture D5, D6, D7 and D8 bulldozers.
Delta has developed a sophisticated proprietary ERP system for the hose business that enables it to provide JIT delivery in Point-Of-Use stillages direct to Caterpillar's factory floor.
Delta sources components from Italy, China, USA, India and Australia.
