John White, Managing Director / CEO

John founded Delta Hydraulics in 1975 and has led the company's innovation, engineering and sales since its inception and grown the company into an international operation with 17,000 m2 of advanced manufacturing plants on two continents with over 2,000 customers in 30 countries.

John, a self-taught engineer, is an innovator with numerous hydraulic innovation credits to his name including the development of unitary manufacture of telescopic stages as well as a range of engineered product innovations in both telescopic and rod cylinders. He applies his innovation and engineering precision to his other business interests and his hobby of high performance motorsport.

John is also the Managing Director of White Hot Industries, owner of White Sands Estate, Iron House Brewery, Iron House Distillery and IronHouse Vineyard on Tasmania's east coast and Managing Director of White Hot Motorsport and White Hot Marine.

Between 1985 and 2012 John served as a Director of the Tasmanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including three years as President. Between 2011 and 2013 John was a Director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of its Workplace Relations Committee.

John enjoys ocean fishing and motorsport and is a five-time winner of Targa Tasmania one of the world's most prestigious tarmac rallies.

Ross Healey, General Manager Thailand

Ross is the General Manager of Delta Hydraulics (Thailand) Ltd.

Ross has 27 years manufacturing management experience gained in the international automotive component industry. Ross is experienced in Lean Manufacturing principles and has significant practical experience in tool design as well as the manufacture of tooling and trouble shooting. Ross has managed manufacturing projects in Australia, China, the United States, India and Thailand and managed the start-up of an automatic paint line in China to meet the OEM quality system demands of large OEMs including FAW-Audi, Volkswagen Group, General Motors, Nissan and SAIC Motor. Ross has taken three high volume automotive projects to a sustained ZERO PPM Quality performance in Australia, India and Thailand.

Ross is a keen golfer, regularly playing the myriad of quality Thailand courses.

Jason Bresnehan, Chief Operating Officer

Jason Bresnehan is Delta Hydraulics Chief Operating Officer.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Tasmania and commenced his career as an accountant, working for six years in chartered accountancy firms including four years with KPMG. Post KPMG Jason was a partner in a boutique investment banking firm Noble House Investment Banking and between 1998 and 2004 Jason was a venture capitalist with Momentum Ventures, a $30m early stage technology fund which invested in drug, medical, point of use, enterprise software and oil & gas exploration technologies.

Jason has led three companies; Imagination Software - a developer of browser based web applications, Funnelback - a provider of a cloud based enterprise search application and Biovend - a developer of point of use vending freezers for the global life sciences and medical research sectors.

More recently Jason was COO/CFO of the Pescott Group, a $120 million group of businesses in the forestry, farming, recycling and rubber products manufacturing sectors.

Jason enjoys competing in tarmac rallies and circuit racing.

Viv Woodward, Chief Production Officer

Viv has been part of the Delta team for 34 years, commencing with the company in 1981. Viv is a qualified Fitter & Machinist and holds a Diploma in Front Line Management as well as a Diploma in Competitive Systems and Practices.

For the past twenty years Viv has been responsible for Delta's production systems and human resources utilising the Delta Quality Management System. Viv is currently responsible for the work order scheduling, manning, OH&S and on time delivery of product to all customers including Caterpillar in line with their Caterpillar Production Systems and their Athena E-Commerce system.

Viv is a Justice of the Peace and a keen long distance runner and golfer.

Robert Mason, Chief Engineer

Robert has been with Delta for 22 years. He is a qualified Fitter & Turner and holds an Associate Diploma in mechanical Engineering and a Diploma in Production Engineering.

Robert manages Delta's design and engineering team and in this role is responsible for supervision of the 2D/3D CAD drawings, supervision of Finite Element Analysis, technical liaison with customers and production team as well as assisting John White with quotations and technical sales.

Robert also manages Delta's information technology infrastructure.

Nigel Harris, Machining Supervisor

Nigel leads the Thailand machine operator team. Delta Thailand operates Vertical and horizontal CNC machining centres, multi-axis CNC machining centres and CNC lathes.

Nigel commenced his career with Delta Hydraulics in Australia in 1975 where he was involved in design, CNC programming and supervised the production of hydraulic components. Between 1988 and 2007 Nigel performed a similar role with Hambro Engineering, a manufacturer of components and sub-assemblies for OEM clients such as Caterpillar and general manufacturing.

In 1989 Nigel returned to Delta Hydraulics as a CNC programmer and operator supervisor. Since 2013 Nigel travels regularly to Thailand to supervise the CNC manufacturing line. Nigel holds a Trade Certificate in Fitting and Machining, is certified in Competitive Systems and Practices (Lean Manufacturing) and he holds a Diploma in Front Line Management.
